Howell is an authorized Canadian distributor for Keckley and their line of Suction Diffusers. These suction diffusers mount either vertically or horizontally to the suction side of a pump. They are designed to remove any hazardous material that might cause damage to the pump as well as to help optimize fluid flow and smooth turbulence. Furthermore, these diffusers enhance energy efficiency by maintaining a consistent pressure profile, ultimately translating into cost savings over time. Where space is limited, the Keckley Suction Diffuser can be used as an elbow with a built-in strainer for easy maintenance and system performance.
Keckley's Suction Diffusers provide minimal pressure drop with their oversized body and screen and are normally supplied with a 20 mesh 304 stainless steel removable start-up sleeve to help promote a cleaner more trouble-free system. The Suction Diffuser is furnished with a bolted cover and O-ring seal, cast supporting pads for easy mounting of standard ID support foot, and with plugged drain connection.
