Howell stocks a wide range of import and domestic North American malleable iron pipe fittings. Malleable fittings are durable, versatile and easy to install. They are made from cast iron that has been heated and moulded into various shapes and sizes. They have great tensile strength and can withstand high pressures and temperatures.
We stock malleable fittings in both black and galvanized finishes and in 150lb and 300lb pressure classes. We also offer a variety of fitting types, such as:
- Elbows: These fittings are used to change the direction of the pipe at a 90-degree or 45-degree angle. They are available in both male and female threads.
- Tees: These fittings are used to branch off or join two pipes at a 90-degree angle. They have one inlet and two outlets, and can be either equal or reducing.
- Unions: These fittings are used to connect two pipes that can be easily disconnected without cutting or welding. They consist of three parts: a nut, a female end and a male end.
- Couplings: These fittings are used to join two pipes of the same size. They can be either straight or reducing, and have female threads on both ends.
- Caps: These fittings are used to seal the end of a pipe. They have female threads and can be either round or hexagonal.
